Candy Cane Egg Nog Postworkout Shake!

It's the holiday season, you're pushing your training extra hard to make use of the extra calories you're taking in, or know you'll be taking in soon. One of life's simple pleasures is to indulge during the holidays and enjoy some of the tasty treats that you only see this time of year.

So why not combine some of the best of the best together and put them to good use in a postworkout shake?

I give you the candy cane egg nog shake.

I got this recipe idea from professional bodybuilder Antoine Vaillant. He's a funny dude and makes great youtube videos so check him out!



  • 1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups of egg nog
  • 1 large candy cane or a couple of smaller ones
  • dash of cinnamon


  • Throw it all in a blender! (That was tough)

If you go with the lesser amounts of ingredients like Antoine does you get something like 80g Carbs, 8g Fat, 36g Protein from this shake and most of the carbs are sugar so that's why it should be kept to postworkout only!
